An annoying/embarrassing problem that was kinda cool

Steve and I went to a wedding tonight. (One of his co-workers.) I wore a dress. The problem was, my underwear kept falling down (and almost totally off).

I've lost more weight than I can keep up with the underwear purchasing!

So, yeah. Totally embarrassing. And totally cool. ALL AT THE SAME TIME!

That's what trash cans are for.

Ha! See, that's what maybe a smart person would think.

There are two problems with this idea, though:

1) I was eating with Steve's boss and his boss's wife and I didn't want to explain to them why I needed to leave
2) Then I wouldn't have any underwear on! You totally forget that I'm a really big prude!

I can't wait to get to that stage of my weight loss journey!

And it's totally worth having it happen at an awkward time, because it entertained me. And hey, isn't that what your blog is all about? =P

Have to admit, I'm a little concerned about all the weight you're dropping.

Don't be alarmed! May of last year I weighed 240 pounds. Now I weigh around 175. (When I got pregnant with Lily, I weighed 165.) That's like, what, a pound a week? And that doesn't even include the 20 pounds worth of baby and placenta. (On my blog it seems like the weight is coming off fast. In real life it's been kinda slow.)

Ok, that does make me feel better. Just you mention the weight loss and the blacking out and I get concerned....

Hurrah for you!

No worries. The blacking out was more because of the wellbutrin, anyway. Don't get me wrong ... I love that stuff. But it is true that it makes you forget to eat even while it's busy making you all happy and stuff.

wellbutrin also makes you, mm, shall we say, a LOT more "frisky." If you know what I mean.

To anonymous: Is that you, mom? If so, EWWWWW! TMI!

No, mom doesn't write under "anonymous" anymore (since several months ago). I figured out the buttons and I either write my name or "mom." But I totally would have written a comment like that.
