Steve's response to reading my blog tonight

Steve: "I dunno. Maybe it was a mistake."

Me: "What was a mistake? Posting that stuff?"

Steve: "No." [pause] "Letting women learn to read and write."

(Feel free to flay him in the comments section.)

Bad, bad Steve.

You *say* you were being sarcastic and stuff, but I think I don't BELIEVE you!

:-)

Steven Spencer, don't make me come out there and flay you in person!

Though I'm pretty sure you were kidding, in which a flaying would not be justified.

Steve's response to your response, Karie: "She's sure, huh? Gullible, gullible woman."

More on what Steve said: "Really, though, all women *are* pretty gullible."

Now Steve is saying: "Kerry! You are totally misquoting me!"

Now Steve is explaining to Sam: "Your mama is sure being mean to your daddy. It's a good thing women are just property!"

OK now, there is a difference between the sarcastic jokes you tell to your best friend and eternal partner, and the (usually-failed) sarcasm you tell (or have repeated) to THE ENTIRE WORLD OVER THE INTERNET. Women are great. I like women. OK? Lay off the cat'o'nine tails, already.

Okay, I'm laughing like mad here people. Trust me though, the waves of sarcasm are getting through. =P

The funniest thing is picturing you two on your dueling computers, posting and commenting away!

We totally were on dueling computers, too. Lying right next to each other on the bed and fighting online! Good times.
