Don't be bummed. I'm not convinced Mitt is gone. The Republican party is at a crossroads. A good portion of the party feels their needs are not met. I'm thinking legitimate third party time in soon approaching. It's gonna be an interesting nine months, to say the least.-- P
I disagree with pen. a third party would split the republicans and give the election to the democrats(I think it was Roosevelt who tried it). Which is why we only really have two parties. I did hear someone who said that Mitt was very well placed to run for next election though especially if this election goes democratic. For Penelope's reasons, a lot of republicans aren't too pleased and will swing democratic this election. I think that it's going to swing back a little next election after the dust has settled from Bush. and then Romney's got a very good chance as runner up president that hasn't lost in the general election. So maybe next presidential election. Maybe not. But my psychic prediction is that this general election will go to Hilary/Obama(or Obilary if you prefer).
a third party would split the republicans and give the election to the democratsAnd what's wrong with that?
