Sam: "What are you looking for?"
me: "My razor."
Sam: "Why are you looking for your razor?"
me: "Because I need to shave my hairy armpits."
Sam: "Oh, I see." [pause][fake sigh] "Well, you should know, Mommy, you've got a LOT of work ahead of you."
me: "Dude."
Sam: [shrugs] "At least your mustache hasn't grown back in. That would be too much for one day."

ReplyDeletethough, Sam does *try* to make me laugh, so everything he says doesn't necessarily indicate what he actually thinks.
once, I was laughing at Lily and he got really mad. "You always laugh at her and you never laugh at me!" he said. I told him, no, I laugh at you all the time.
he sighed. "I know," he said. "I love it when you do that."
OK. I had to scroll all the way to the bottom before I was caught up. But, totally worth it. Hilarious.
