*snort* You're a dork. The pronoun referent is "wisdom," not "the Lord."
Text for those who don't click the link- Mosiah 8:20--"O how marvelous are the works of the Lord, and how long doth he suffer with his people; yea, and how blind and impenetrable are the understandings of the children of men; for they will not seek wisdom, neither do they desire that she should rule over them!"
Ah, but one could argue that "wisdom" is associated with the holy ghost which in Hebrew is a feminine noun and in Gnostic texts is just a flate out female (and blatantly associated with "Wisdom" or, as it occurs in the Greek, "Sophia") and since the HG is a part of the Godhead, God is a girl! (At least 1/3 of him is) Or...maybe, the pronoun referent really *is* the Lord. Or..maybe not. YOU DECIDE! :-)
I wasn't going to say exactly what Karie said, because I don't think pots should pick on kettles, but I did wonder if she was a typo, or a reference to the concept of Wisdom.

I actually meant "flat" not "flate" but ya'll are probably smart enough to figure that out.

And I got your play on words, Steve. Even if these brainiac women chose to ignore it.
She's the grammar goddess because I didn't want to use the word Nazi online cause for some strange reason people don't like that word. Go figure!
