photo love story provided by two (really dating!) students who needed extensions and know how amusing SWILUA finds intra-class romances.

Only at BYU

do you read a paper with sentences like:

"Every student here on campus deserves the right to eat without the distractions of short skirts and unkempt hair."

This place is hilarious.

Back to grading.

Newsflash: BYU Students are a Little Sheltered

[it's classtime.  one of my students is reading his paper on why we should buy his maraca-made-of-a-sprite-can on ebay.]

boy's paper: "if you buy this maraca, you won't even need heroin to be a rockstar! you'll just need to shake your can a bit."

girl in class: "wait. I don't understand. why do you need girls to be rockstars?"

[if this doesn't make sense to you yet, consider: heroin vs. heroine. yeah.]

okay, someone needs to explain this poster to me

because technically, I'm teaching a class right now and i don't have time to go to the website and figure it out. www.theIHS.org/cure.

FYI, the first line below the subtitle is, "Millions of people every year suffer from the debilitating effect of government corecion."

I can't figure out if they're serious or joking and which one of those options is funnier...

Makes you kinda wonder about priorities, right?

at Miss Provo's pool, there are several signs.

Only one of them is about not pooping in the water.

(I wonder if they know that modest swimwear doesn't protect you from the Crypto?)

Another fun BYU poster!

Just in case it's too small to fully appreciate, the caption reads: "Two thumbs up for the trendy tops including sleeves, backs, and high necklines! Fans will rave for the constantly covered skin!"
